Jerry studied under master bamboo rodmaker Daryll Whitehead in his bamboo rod shop in Oregon. Under Daryll's demanding eye Jerry learned how to craft beautiful and responsive rods uniquely designed for the Alaska fly fisher and collector.

Our rods feature an uncompromising dedication to craftsmanship, detail, and the world's best components. We use only Bellinger and Struble nickel silver reel seats, Snake Brand snake guides, genuine agate stripping guides, top grade cork, silk wraps, and hand selected Tonkin cane. All rods feature a signature spar varnish finish that's smooth as glass and nothing short of beautiful.

Many of our rods feature fossilized whale bone, walrus ivory reel seat inserts and ferrule plugs. We think it reflects the unique culture and history of Alaska. You'll think it's just another reason to own one of our rods.
